Introducing the technologies
The TOPINJECT method injects an expanding synthetic resin below the surface. The resin fills the voids, compacts the loose soil and increases its load bearing capacity – this stops building subsidence, while sunken concrete floors, warehouse slabs and road surfaces can be lifted back to level.
The bulk of our work is industrial: the concrete floors of warehouses, logistics centres, production halls and industrial parks. The soil beneath the slab compacts, the floor panels sink and a step forms at the joints – this damages forklift running gear, slows materials handling and distorts the geometry of the racking. We inject panel by panel, so the hall stays in operation: the warehouse does not have to be emptied, production is not halted, and the treated section can carry load again within a short time. We stabilise machine foundations, forklift lanes and the ground beneath tanks with the same technology.
The work is carried out without excavation or demolition: we drill holes a few millimetres wide, in most cases from outside the building. The intervention is based on a dynamic penetrometer soil investigation – on measurement rather than estimation. The resin reaches about 90 per cent of its final strength within roughly half an hour; the lift is monitored with a laser level or theodolite to millimetre accuracy and can be stopped at any moment. The method can be applied in winter as well, down to −20 °C, and on request we work at night or at the weekend.
Besides industrial projects we strengthen the foundations of residential and office buildings, repair the slabs of shopping centres and car parks, restore road and railway structures and bridge approach embankments, and help preserve state, ecclesiastical and listed historic buildings. Our company group has been working in Europe for more than 15 years, with over 1,500 completed projects – and we guarantee the solution.
The advantages of injection technologies
- Fast implementation
- No excavation or wrecking required – we only drill discreet holes in the floor
- Can be used in hard to access places
- Quick curing resin
- Long term solution
- Economical, less accessory expenses: the warehouse does not have to be emptied and production is not halted
- Increases the load bearing capacity, the cause of subsidence
Dependable
- Over 1,500 jobs completed by our companies in Europe
- Our company group has 15 years of experience
- Trusted by the leading industrial companies and by governments
- Guaranteed
- We measure the lift with a laser level or theodolite to millimetre accuracy while the work is under way
- The injection can be monitored throughout the process and stopped immediately if needed
- On request we work at night or at the weekend so that operations or traffic are not interrupted
